Maria Grazia was born in Agnone, a little village located in south central of Italy in the Molise region, province of Isernia.  Passionate of wholesome cuisine and concerned to offer her family healthy foods from quality products and simple but authentic recipes, Maria Grazia is today a certified Coldiretti extra-vergin olive oil taster.

From 1985 to 2010, she lived in Italy with her family on an ancient olive grove in Reggio Calabria.  Throughout the years, Maria Grazia intensified her research in order to understand the properties determining the excellence of an olive oil.  Her determination brought her to undertake a certification with PrimOlio and the Universita Mediterranea of Reggio Calabria allowing her to understand the defects and qualities of oils so as to proceed to the tasting and evaluation of extra-vergin olive oil.

With a taster's diploma obtained in Italy and her jury experience of which the 2014 and 2015 Olive d'Or contest in Montreal and Toronto, Maria Grazia invested herself in an adventure of non-return towards the appreciation of quality.

Back in Montreal since 2010, Maria Grazia now frequently visits olive groves and mills for new tastings in Europe and America permitting her to share her passion for extra-vergin olive oil.

His passion and his meticulous research into the authentic taste and healthy eating was born among the hills imbued of beauty of Reggio Calabria, where the olive trees are the backdrop to a thousand-year tradition. And right there, Christopher was born a couple of decades ago. Since childhood growing up and playing from a fig tree to another, he was savoring the true and authentic taste of the Mediterranean seasons. From a simple "panino al salame" or the most refined taste of sundried tomato in oil, his memories of the good and simple eating are still present in every product of Pirrello Spécialités. 

Through the years, that seed planted as a child by the ancient culinary traditions has grown up to embrace and expand his interest in products from all over the Italian territory, such as balsamic vinegar. For Cristoforo the past results in a present even more authentic and his promise translate in the sincerity of a search for a product, respectful of that tradition arised from need and  preserved in time for goodness.
